Greenough Wildlife Park- Western Australia

Are you looking for a cheap family outing for a few hours? Wanting to get up and close with Australian animals? Want to hand feed the kangaroos, goats or a camel?  Then we suggest to head to the  Greenough Wildlife and Bird Park which is situated 20km South of Geraldton on the Brand Highway.

Greennough Wildlife Park is a privately owned park that rescues and rehabilitates injured wildlife. The park is a an great size with easy pathways, its not as big as a zoo, but the park gives a great hands on experience with the animals. For value of money and experience  I would suggest better than a zoo!  There is birds, goats, kangaroos, crocodiles, dingoes and much more to keep you entertained. Entry is only $10 and you can grab a small bag of feed for a cheap price.

The park gives you the opportunity to hold the snakes and even have cuddles and photos with the dingoes! There is also a playground and sheltered areas to sit and take a break. Overall value for money is excellent!
